Each semester, WSKOV is looking for new musicians and singers!
Open rehearsals:

The open rehearsals are a great opportunity to get to know the association. Join us for a rehearsal, explore the repertoire for the upcoming season, meat the conductor, board members and chat with choir or orchestra members. At the entrance of Orion, WSKOV members will be ready to welcome you and guide you to the right room. The choir and orchestra rehearsals both start at 19:30, so we advise you to be present at 19:15. This way, there is plenty of time to welcome you and unpack your instrument if necessary! Hope to see you there!
P.S. Bringing your own music stand is not needed, WSKOV has enough!

We are looking for the following musicians and singers, but everyone is welcome to join the open rehearsals!
The orchestra is looking for the following groups for this season:
- Brass
- Bassoon
- Oboe
- Strings
The choir is looking for the following groups for this season:
- Sopranos
- Tenors
- Basses
Since 1919, we have been making music with both choir and orchestra at WSKOV. Our motto is: make friends with music, make music with friends! Our choir (50-70 members) and orchestra (30-40 members) rehearse on the same evening, led by professional conductors: Frank Adams (orchestra) and Dennis Broeders (choir). After the rehearsals, we often have a drink, and outside of the rehearsals, there is more music-making for those who can't get enough. Our building has two practice rooms with grand pianos that you can use as a member.
In addition to rehearsals, our members are active in various committees, where everyone can give their own interpretation and develop personally in collaboration. For example, the AcCie provides fun musical or creative activities where members can get to know each other better. The TripCie organizes a tour abroad for all members once every two years, and the WeekendCie organizes our rehearsal weekends - always a highlight of the season!
Each season ends with dazzling concerts, where the choir and orchestra perform pieces separately and together.
